In this episode we will expand on how to ask for the names of things.

It will be a challenging but useful grammar lesson.

As we all know, it’s important to be able to ask for the name of someone’s significant others and turtles!

Lesson

How are you called? (Familiar) - Kako se zoveš?

How are you called, sir? (Formal) - Kako se zovete, gospodine? I am called.... - Ja se zovem...

How is your wife called? (Familiar) - Kako se zove tvoja žena? How is your wife called? (Formal) - Kako se zove vaša žena? How is my wife called? - Kako se zove moja žena?

....your husband? - tvoj/vaš muž?

....your daughter? - tvoja/vaša kći?

....your dog? - tvoj/vaš pas?

....your turtle? - tvoja/vaša kornjača?

Super Slatko Report

In this edition of the Super Slatko Report, DJ Moe will tell us about a little island village near Šibenik. If you’re interested in learning a little bit about Otok Murter, join us and prepared to be intrigued!

Today, we're diving headfirst into the Croatian Island of Murter, a delightful blend of history, culture, and stunning landscapes.

Our first stop takes us to the heart of the island, town of Murter or just known as Murter. Nestled snugly on the northern coast, that is both charming and welcoming. But beware: the streets can be twisty so keep your map handy.

Next, check out Slanica Beach, With its crystal-clear waters and golden sands, it's the perfect spot to work on your tan or indulge in a game of beach volleyball.

Like bridges? So does Otok Murter. This island is connected to the mainland by not one, not two, but four bridges. Murter isn't just an island; it's an archipelago

Going inland we visit whats called the Olive Garden, the Olive Garden is home to centuries-old olive trees. Here you can take a leisurely stroll among the gnarled trunks and breathe in the earthy scent of liquid gold in the making.

From the Olive Garden we make our way to the tunnels of Murter. Here you can go underground and explore the hidden labyrinth. These low ceiling tunnels were Carved into the limestone cliffs centuries ago, these mysterious passageways once served as shelter from marauding invaders. Today, they offer a cool respite from the midday sun and a fascinating glimpse into the island's past.

Did you know that Murter is home to a sea turtle rehabilitation center? That's right; injured or orphaned turtles find sanctuary on this quaint island, where they're nursed back to health before returning to the wild

Kornati National Park isn’t far off. Hop aboard a boat and set sail to the  pristine archipelago not too far from the island. Here, you can find a rugged landscape dotted with ancient ruins and hidden coves, providing a glimpse into Croatia's rich maritime history.

Saving the best for last, Our final stop brings us to Kosirina Beach, a secluded slice of paradise. Tucked away from the tourist crowds, it's the perfect spot to unwind with a good book or simply soak in the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Otok Murter sounds and looks pretty amazing. This island has it all; history, culture, and natural beauty. So, whether you're a history buff, a beach bum, or simply in search of your next great Mother Nature appreciation adventure, Otok Murter has something for everyone.
